At The King's School we endeavour to serve the local community by developing a learning environment based on high expectations, sahred goals and strong paternships. We encourage all students to develop their full potential in a caring environment where opinions are valued and achievement is celebrated. We seek to offer a curriclum that is broad and balanced and appropriate to all students irrespective of gender, ethnicity, belief, levels of abiliy or disability and social, cultural or economic background.

Key Stage 3 curriculum

Between the ages of 11 and 14, students are given a strong foundation in both the core and foundation subjects which supports their future success. Personal, emotional adn social development is a key strength of the school and is at the heart of our curriculum.
Year 7-8:
The Key Stage 3 curriculum covers Years 7-8. Students study English, Maths, Science, Art, Geography, History, ICT, Languages, Music, PE, PSHE, RE and Technology. At the end of Year 8 students opt to study French or Spanish or both languages in Year 9.
