A Level Geography

Geography is an extremely popular and historically successful subject. It has had excellent results and many pupils go on to follow Geography courses in higher education. We anticipate that we will follow the WJEC Syllabus which is based upon the questions, problems and issues which arise from the interactions of people with their varied environments.

What can this course lead to?

You will notice some similarities to GCSE since this is a very modern Geography syllabus changed ready for 2016 . We think that if you enjoyed the subject for GCSE then you will enjoy this course. The subject involves fieldwork locally, further afield and residential during the two years. Throughout the course you will be expected to do your own research, especially for the investigations and research units, essays, presentations and past exam questions.
