Method of Assessment
Students are assessed by their oral contributions to class discussions. Developing opinions on various subject matters and sharing these with their peers in small groups is also used to assess progress.
Independent learning
Students are encouraged to take an interest in current affairs as this will help them participate in contemporary issues. Formal assessment occurs in Year 9 where students use research skills and prepare a presentation for their peers.
