Head of History (TLR 2b - £4395)

The King’s School (NoR 1130) is an outstanding 11-18 comprehensive school with excellent facilities, supportive parents, ambitious students and an extremely strong reputation for success.  A commitment to the philosophy of “Achievement for All” and a desire to work in an exciting, dynamic, creative and supportive way are essential for all staff at The King’s School.

For September 2017 we wish to appoint a Head of History to inspire and lead this extremely successful and popular department. This is a forward thinking, dynamic and high achieving department at GCSE and A level, so we need a creative and committed person who will demonstrate a clear vision and purpose to build on these strengths. Subject knowledge is obviously crucial but a commitment to the school’s philosophy of Achievement for All, a passion for the subject and a desire to work in an innovative and supportive team are also vital.

Please contact Mrs Daly for further details or see our website and apply on line. The closing date is midday, Wednesday 29th March with a view to interview in the week of the 24th April. We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of students so all staff are enhanced DBS checked.

To apply on-line, save the application form to your computer and upon completion email to r.daly@thekings.devon.sch.uk
