There are a wide range of extra curricular activities that take place at Kings. Many are highlighted under the “Sport” section on this website.

Each term a programme of extra curricular clubs is produced. This is sent home via the “Kings” weekly newsletter. A copy of the most recent version is available below

  • Year 7 Christmas Party
  • House Dance, House Music and House Drama (see Houses section)
  • House Photography competition
  • Year 7 Day of Diversity
  • Year 8 MFL Enterprise Day
  • Fun Afternoon (see Charitable Activity section)

Project Week

In July each year students in Years 7 to 9 take part in Project Week. These vary from year to year but there is always a wide range of projects available typically including:

  • Residential trips to Paris, the Ardeche, Barcelona and London.
  • Day trips to places of interest in the local area
  • Sports and outdoor activity projects such as skiing, football or activities at Haven Banks
  • Projects that support the local community
  • School based projects which include a range of activities
